Open-E JovianDSS HA Metro Cluster over Ethernet

-

Today we would like to share with you a new how-to resource that helps you to deploy a High Availability Metro Cluster architecture over Ethernet with Open-E JovianDSS.

High Availability and data protection

with Open-E JovianDSS

-

With the Advanced Metro HA Cluster Feature Pack for Open-E JovianDSS you can  create HA environments for two server nodes over Ethernet with a storage server at each location. This way, you benefit from a n uninterrupted workflow, continuous availability and data protection.

-

In our new how-to document, you will see an example setup of an Advanced Metro High Availability Cluster, that is using an Ethernet link for Disk Exports instead of SAS. It can work with JBOD-less hardware, so that disks are present in both cluster nodes and are mirrored via an Ethernet path.
